Who We Are

Dhara is a simple home abode born from the shared love of a mother and daughter for the wild and the quiet. What started as a personal passion has grown into a mission to bring the grounding energy of nature into every space.

What We Do

We handcraft living terrariums that capture the essence of the earth. In a world that moves too fast, we provide a pocket of stillness, a self sustaining ecosystem for your sanctuary. Whether it is a gift or a centerpiece, our goal is to share the experience of nature, one glass jar at a time.

Why the Name Dhara

Our name is a sacred reflection of the life held within our glass vessels, told through three layers of meaning in Sanskrit. It begins with Dhara, the Holder, the masculine geometric structure that sustains and protects the life within. Rooted in this embrace is Dhara, the feminine Earth, the grounding soil and roots that form the foundation of our miniature worlds. Finally there is Dhara, the Flow, the continuous rhythmic energy of nature that connects these small wonders. Together we are Dhara, the Sustainer of the Earth's Flow.

A Piece of Our Earth, For Yours

Dhara began in a quiet corner of our home, a spark of creativity born from a moment of curiosity that grew into a deep rooted passion. After so much encouragement from those around us, we are finally letting the flow reach further. By bringing this terrarium into your space, you are not just buying a plant, you are joining us at the very start of our new journey. Thank you for becoming a part of the story we are building.

With gratitude, The Dhara Family
